IT IS ALL ABOUT HIM
Luke 10:21
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
Whether trying to explain
* why He does or does not exist
* how we are to follow Him
* who He sent or did not send
* why He allows or do not allow evil
* if there is a hell or a heaven
* whether He has a Son or not
* if angels have wings or not
* how He created Heaven and Earth
* good or evil
* what happens after we die
It circles around God.
It may seem indeed strange why anyone would not believe in God. Really, instead give glory to God that you are privileged to believe.
It may also seem strange not to believe in His salvation plan. How can God have a Son, how can He allow His Son to die? Indeed for mere man. Really, instead give glory to God that you are privileged to believe.
For in doubt many may still dwell, in arguments many may continue to, in playing religion some cannot let it go.
Yet it all began from Him and it will all end with Him.
The very essence of our existence rests on our not being a physical being. The inner conviction of what is, goes beyond what our parents taught us, what our society teaches or what we are forced to believe.
It is not about the fear of death or hell but an inner conviction of what is!
This is why the bible says about Jesus the Christ
Colossians 1:17
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
and yet again
Colossians 1:16
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
and yet again
Colossians 1:20
and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
It all began with Him and it will end with Him.
It is a special privilege to know Him, then further to believe and accept Him, then further to serve Him.
Is anyone excused who has not believed? No!
Romans 1:19
because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
Deutronomy 1:32
"Yet, for all that, you did not believe the LORD your God,
It is a privilege to believe. We sometimes forget what great a victory it is to be one of those who is privileged to know Him, believe Him and then receive Him.
Let us take a moment to appreciate God for this previlege.
Let us rejoice in this salvation.
Let us take full advantage of this privilege.
Let us interceed for others to come into this salvation.
Let us tell others of this great love.
1Corinthians 1:21
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
Colossians 1:26
the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.
Glory to God!
Arise brethren the enemy fights to make ordinary this great salvation, to reduce its power, to suppress the victory, the glory and the power.
2Timothy 3:5
having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
No! we are not of these.
But
Acts 1:8
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
I see a new awakening, no more slumber. I see God reaching out through us to a world which has been blinded by evil, false faiths, philosophy, religion, false teachers and prophets.
I see God in us!
God is reaching out to you.
