LOOKING AT THE PSALMS

Psalm 32:1

Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven, [whose] sin [is] covered.


David was a man who was privileged in the time of the law to see liberty that is to be given to man through Christ Jesus.


Psalm 32:2
Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.


And again:

Psalm 32:3
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

1John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.


When we read through the Psalms and other scriptures in the old testament, we should do so without the veil, that we may see the revelation of Christ Jesus.

Matthew 22:43-45
He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?


As we sing, chant or read those Psalms, may we see Christ revealed through the "prophet" David.

PRAYER
Loving Father, thank You for Your promises to us in Your word which are now fulfilled in Christ Jesus. We receive, retain and make the best of them. Yes we are truly blessed. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

TRADE WISELY

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Many have traded their joy chasing over material things and the pleasures and satisfaction of the world. The question is "is it worth it?". Yes we must earn, work and keep improving day after day but we must remember "nothing is free". We must pay a price. So, what are we ready to sacrifice? DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
