WHAT DO YOU KNOW?

2Timothy 2:15

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.


We live in an age where people are seeking more for manifestation than the truth of the word. Many do not seek to know but just to enjoy a brief manifestation, a glimpse of a miracle, a little glory.


Wait! it is more than that. You need to know, to understand by learning, studying and listening to the things of the Spirit.


That is when it stays and remains.


Let us look at Jesus our example.


Luke 2:46
Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions


Luke 4:20
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him


Jesus was known from childhood as a person of the scriptures. No wonder He could handle the anointing, be it by auction or by faith. Selah.


So that is why we read:


John 1:33
"I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'


If you are not grounded in the word the manifestation of your gifts could be as a vessel unto dishonour.


That is why we hear of ministers who are interested in money and earthly glory. They have left God to pursue man or themselves. They may speak of God but their hearts are not with God. They lie and do wickedness with ease, yet call on the name of the Lord. This is abominable. Lord help us!


It is time to arise from working with spiritual contractors to knowing God for yourself.


Going above religion, sentiments and the law. But by the Spirit fulfilling the reason why you are saved.


If you are not yet saved, what are you waiting for?


Let us arise from our sleep to live the victorious life we have in Christ Jesus.


Our work can't stop us, neither our family nor our friends. Instead we excel more in all things as an overflow of the power of God in all we do.


Daniel was an example.


Daniel 9:2
During the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, learned from reading the word of the Lord, as revealed to Jeremiah the prophet, that Jerusalem must lie desolate for seventy years.

 

If you do not study the word brethren, you will NOT KNOW!


What part of the scripture will you find time to meditate on today?
The Holy Spirit waits to bring revelation to you.


The Lord has helped us.


PRAYER
Loving Father, thank You for Your Word, He makes me clean, builds me up and is my sword of victory. Teach me daily Lord let me grow from glory to glory. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO YOU STILL SEE?

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry. It may have been easy when we first believed, to visualize the promises. We reach out with zeal, loving God, seeking to do exploits. DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
