THE CHRISTIAN

Psalms 15:1-5

Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?

Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.

Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.

Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts.

Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.

David was one of those people that were privileged to sit in the office of a prophet. He also testified of the revelation of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ. He received revelation of what should be the character of the believer:

As simple as this description may be, many of us still fall short of these good characters. Why?

James 1:14-16

Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.

These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.

So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters.

It is not that we do not want to live our lifes as believers, remembering that our salvation gives us power to be God's sons and thus have overcome sin.

The problem is that we still have desires and thus we could erroneously long to satisfy them.

Romans 12

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

We need to know that we learn OBEDIENCE IN OBEDIENCE!

Do not breed those thoughts and avoid the atmosphere that instigates them! There is already much to contend with, do not add on to it. O help us Good Lord!

We are careful so that we do not become lost or reprobate. Remember we are still human and of course we have the limitations of being humans, so we put our trust in the Lord for by His Spirit we can live like true sons. Glory.

The truth is that the consciousness of who we are must be in us, night and day, we must not lose guard. We must show forth the praises of Him who called us.

1 Peter 2:9 NLT

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Do not lose guard, when all is well and everything is working out beautifully for you. Also don't lose guard when it seems rough and you are going through challenges.

The Lord will continue to lead us rightly.

Glory to God forevermore.

PRAYER

Loving Father, help me to live the life You desire from me. I must be in Your presence continually so I submit to Your will and Your ways. Help me by Your Spirit. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.
