THAT LITTLE GOOD

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.

There is a need to remind ourselves not to neglect the little things that make up the whole.

We must understand that the things that matter in this life are a collection of little things we do that really do matter. Just like little bricks that come together to form the whole building, if each is chipped off one at a time, the dilapidation of the building is imminent.

A great rock can be brought down by continually chopping off small pieces. The same way a marriage can be destroyed by pieces of unfaithfulness, disrespect or even lack of communication. It accumulates over time, then one might think it just suddenly happened, NO, it doesn't work that way.

So,

Let us NOT drop those "little things"

* discipline

* good routines

* readings

* prayers

* study of the word

* worship

* show of love

* encouragement

* planning

* investments

* inventing

* advice

* counselling

* givings

* teaching

* tongues

* prophesying

* meditation

* gifts of the Spirit

* anointing

* fasting

* patience

* retreat

* rest

* healing . . .

   and so on

they add up to make the bigger success we achieve.

Job 8:7

Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.

Isaiah 60:22

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time."

Galatians 6:9

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Don't get weary in doing those little "good", for they make the great you!

By the power of Jesus the Christ we will not get tired, we will be fervent in season and out of season.

The Holy Spirit will take over us and we will show forth God's glory.

Keep moving forward.

PRAYER

Loving Father, help me keep growing, let me continue to improve on those little good things, that I may be perfect in the whole. I am a winner. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

God has blessed us.

Love
