SOAR LIKE THE EAGLE

Isaiah  40:31

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.


The analogy of the eagle was a very good example used in this scripture to give an illustration of the benefits of being a believer.


We live in a world where there are people who fall into two extremes:


* Those who have completely given up on the believe in God and see it as laughable 


* Those who claim so much about God but their lifestyle is a complete opposite of what they believe, most of them will willingly defraud another with no remorse.


However, the truth remains that God is and He is still the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.


Hebrews 11:6

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.


So the promise of the eagle soar is for the faithful ones.


Some would say: " but that promise was made to the children of Israel . . ."


Understand what Christ said:


Matthew 5:17 NLT

“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. 


The children of Israel at that time were the custodian of the promises till when the Son of man was revealed to give to all people.


John 1:12

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 


And Paul by revelation explains further:


2 Corinthians 1:20

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.


As the eagle is misunderstood by some animals, many will misunderstand you and may even go ahead to fight you, but remember that just as the eagle has its place at the high grounds. You have your place in the Highest ground where God dwells.


Therefore anyone who takes you for granted would be lifted to the higher ground as a friend to greater heights or is dropped below to crash.


For those who understand!


So brethren,


Arise like the eagle you are today, shake off the dust, soar to the great height, no matter the storm or rain the high is your aim and nothing can stop you.


All the distractions, weaknesses, failures are gone with yesterday. Today you win.


Isaiah 49:11

And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.


Stay in PRAYER, Word and Worship, live like the God who is Your Father.


We win.

PRAYER

Loving Father, thank You for given me the grace to soar above all into Your presence, seated with Christ Jesus. Help me by Your Spirit to live out this victory in every area of my life. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others.
