SUCCESS
Proverbs 16:9
A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.
How do we get success?
We discover our pathway with God, then allow the Holy Spirit lead us all the way . . .
then . . .
1Thessalonians 4:11-12
that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,
that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.
We sometimes make the mistake of involving ourselves with what we should have no business with, wasting valuable time that should be invested in our business, calling and interests.
You find out that you are behind and those who have invested wisely are ahead.
While others are reading, doing assignments, making research at school, what are you doing? Do not be surprised when they make great grades.
When others have started saving and investing early while you are still partying and being wasteful, do not be surprised when they are financially free while you are beggarly or waiting for a meagre income.
While others are studying the word, being discipled, spending time in prayers and even fasting while you are laying about and playing around with sin, don't be surprised when they are champions being used by God one way or the other and you feel little, abandoned or now the one running here and there looking for pastors or prophets. Who will fleece you of the little you have.
So when is the right time to start?
Yesterday.
But when do I start?
Now!
Begin today. . . The road to success is not a smooth highway, learn when to slow down, speed up and even when to park and rest awhile, but in all,
. . . keep progressing.
With the destinations in mind.
Do you know that your greatness is tied to tough decisions you have to make?
Challenges surely would come, but keep your mind focused on the goal. The footballer with the ball all the way from the midfield would surely meet other attackers, midfielders and defenders as he journeys towards the goalpost. He must fix his mind on the goal if he must score. Even if he doesn't score the first try, he should keep trying using different tactics and methods, he should surely score and by favour again and again.
Proverbs 24:10
If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.
Go on, it may look enormous at the start but as you take it part by part you will surmount them.
I see you ending the year accomplished.
Help us Good Lord.
PRAYER:
Loving Father, thank you for making me a winner. It is my nature and my character. I am a winner. I resist any form of mediocrity. I SUCCEED. Halleluyah. Glory to God forevermore.
He calls us blessed.
Love
