HEAR GOD SPEAK

John 8:47

Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.”

These are three questions I and many other believers have battles with:


What is God saying about this?

What is God's will?

What step should I take?


Questions keep raging in our hearts over different issues, we want answers and very well we do, for how do we go ahead if it is not clear to us.


2Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.


The word of God still remains potent and keeps us in tune with what the Father says.


The Holy Spirit gives us deep interpretation and also the wisdom to apply.


A believer who is conversant with the word of God would easily understand what God says at each point in time.


When Jesus arose and read the scripture prophesying about Himself, he said that the scriptures were fulfilled in the presence of the people.


Luke 4:21
And He began to say to them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."


Your constant study of the bible will give substance to the revelation the Holy Spirit interprets to you.


John 14:26
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.


Note that - You can only remember what you have read. If you do not read the word how then can it be in Your consciousness? Selah


Wisdom is defined as the application of knowledge. If you don't have the knowledge of the scriptures how then will you be able to apply for wisdom. Having in mind that this application also releases His power.


Let us get used to the bible, it contains the scriptures. That we may have knowledge by which divine wisdom is displayed.


Joshua 1:8
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.


From the times of old to the new testament, God's word remains potent and releases His power to all that seek therein.


When you are conversant with God's word in the scriptures. You know which voice speaking at any time is from God. Also by the power of the Holy Spirit you know which is meant for you in every situation.


Have you studied the scriptures today?


PRAYER:
Loving Father, feed me with your word daily. May I never miss your voice, may I always know what you say. May I always obey. Thank you for your Holy Spirit, thank you for your love. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO YOU STILL SEE?

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry. It may have been easy when we first believed, to visualize the promises. We reach out with zeal, loving God, seeking to do exploits. DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
