BE CAREFUL HOW YOU RESPOND

Proverbs 15:1 NLT

A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.


We cannot always control things that happen, but we can control how we react to them.


Jesus said it is impossible for offences not to come but woe unto him through whom they come.


Matthew 18:7
"Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense come


Luke 17:1
Then He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come


Of course there will be hurts and pains "but you should not be the cause!"
If they come they shouldn't break you but make you.


John 16:33
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world


Romans 12:12
rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer


Romans 12:18
If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men


Therefore, we must stop giving excuses for every situation, yes, they may be out of our control but we are in control of our responses as the Holy Spirit leads, we must not err.


Yes, that person or those people have a terrible character or lifestyle. You are not obligned to live with them or walk with them but you have no business hating on them instead you keep your nature which is love.


Your dispositions are not determined by external factors but by the internal factor.


Colossians 1:27b
And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.


I pray that this year all that would have broken you will instead, make you stronger. As we go closer to the end of the year we will experience God more and will finish the year victorious then enter the new year with renewed strength and favour.

PRAYER
Loving Father keep me steadfast and faithful. The things happening around me will not determine how I react but Your Spirit in me will. Help me Lord for in You I live and move and have my being. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
