ARE YOU CAUSING PAIN?

Proverbs 3:29

Do not devise evil against your neighbor, for he dwells by you for safety's sake.


How could I ever think evil or plot evil against my neighbour?


Well, search yourself, look inside and around you, what are your works bringing forth?


What are your words birthing?


When the desire to achieve your goals, meet your targets and satisfy your desire drives you to ignore the pain you cause others, you fall into the error.


Yes, we will all keep soaring high and achieving greater success, however, we need to watch to be sure that we have no collateral damage on the way.


For your works should cause people to glorify God and not the contrary!


Matthew 18:6 NLT

But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.


Never think that your actions are in isolation, don't assume, make sure that you are not causing harm to others.


You could be an employer, a leader or even a parent, be careful. 


Most times people who are always conscious of what people do against them are the culprit themselves. They are too conscious of themselves that what they do against others are oblivious to them because they live in a false reality. May the Lord deliver us from this type of people and save them in His mercy.


May the Spirit of God enlighten us to see, that we may not err.


Romans 13:10

Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.


As we go through this year may we bring joy and not sorrow to others.


May we reflect back to repay those we owe, reconcile with those we have wronged or vice versa. Reach out to those the Lord prompted us to and we ignored.


Don't forget your family, have you really been there for them?


It is well with you.

PRAYER 

Loving Father continue to lead me, let me not be a cause of pain to all good people. You fight my battles and avenge me, help me to always cause people to glorify You because of my consistent good deeds. I love You Lord. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others.
