GOD WILL DO IT

Philippians 2:13

for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.


Yes, many things may be bothering you as we go closer to the end of the year, there may be plans and expectations which are still pending and you:


* still have requests
* may have something bothering you
* have a big project, job or assignment on our hands
* may have an issue in the family
* need a financial provision urgently
* have someone who needs healing
* have a matter to be settled, or an issue to resolve
* may have been hurt or annoyed by someone
* await news

. . . and maybe others not mentioned.


Notwithstanding all these, today lay them all aside and just acknowledge Him who made us see today, give Him praise, worship Him, give Him thanks . . .


Let's set today aside to recognise Him who made all things and who controls all things.


Revelation 7:12
saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."


Romans 16:27
to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.


We know He can take care of them all . . . He promised He will:


Jeremiah 32:27
“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?


2Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.


My Friend let us say like David:


Psalm 30:12
To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.


Your Glory in God will be revealed afresh.


Worship Him today starting from  your bedside.


These last weeks of this year would be great for us.


Things will fall into place.


We will end the year rejoicing.


There would be healing, deliverance, we would say Yes, God has worked it all out for my good.


May the peace of the Lord be with you.


May He cause His face to shine and smile on you.


Glory.


PRAYER
Loving Father I give You praise, I worship You for You deserve all the glory. I go on through the remaining weeks of this year rejoicing for You will make everything fall into place. Truly it is my year of fulfilment. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us? MY YEAR OF FULFILMENT

Psalms 57:2 I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. We just finished the book of 1Samuel, in this book we see the cry of Israel for a king and how God raised Saul to rule them. We also saw how Saul disobeyed God and lost kingship for himself and his generation. He did not stop there, he went on to seek for the death of David, whom he saw as the next heir of the throne. In chapter 31, the last chapter, we see how Saul and all his sons and men were killed, it was tragic, however it was as a sign of relief for David. We could go on counting all the struggles and difficulties we faced in the past year. No, we should not, we should begin to look at all the positives, remembering all the good things God has done for us. If He promised it, He will do it and that is what we hold onto as we go through this year.
