GOD KNOWS WHAT IS BEST

Psalms 24:1

The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.


Our Heavenly Father who knows all and has all things in His control.


Yes, we may ask: "O what of those who do not acknowledge Him yet things seem to work well for them?" It is indeed so because the Lord has made a system that works, when you follow the right principles it produces its result. Just like anyone has the privilege of planting into a fertile ground and the seed would grow once you water it properly. This works both for the good and the bad.


Just as Jesus explained:


Matthew 5:45
In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.


Listen, no one will employ you to do a work and then decide not to pay you because you do not know the founder of the organisation. No, once you are in employment you work and get your wages. Selah


So let us look at it again:


We have our desires, plans, goals and expectations.


We bring them to God in prayer.


Sometimes things don't happen the same way we expect it to, what do we do?


Our natural instinct makes us forget all and focus on the exact thing we desire. We let it worry us so much and it then seems that the Lord is not there for us.


However, when God looks at it, He looks far beyond our limited view, He has in mind the future and the details we are not privileged to have.


Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,


He sees those things we don't see, even the battles going on that we have no clue about.


We can be sure that God has our best interest at heart.


Isaiah 55:9
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.


Psalms 92:5
O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.


No wonder Jesus said:


Matthew 6:27
Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?


So what do we do, worry less and pray more. Always remember that you can only see what has been revealed, there is yet so much more you don't know and the delay may actually be a blessing.


So dear one trust God, know that He has your best interest at heart. Instead of allowing people push you too hard for earthly things push hard to God, those earthly things are so small for Him to take care of, He said:


Matthew 6:33
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.


Be rest assured, God will take care of it.


May we have less worry as the Lord makes all things fall into place for our favour.

PRAYER
Loving Father, grant us the grace to see Your good plans for us day after day. Your thoughts towards me are always good, so I put my trust in You Lord. Everything will fall into place it will not tarry, my blessings are being fulfilled. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us? MY YEAR OF FULFILMENT

Psalms 57:2 I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. We just finished the book of 1Samuel, in this book we see the cry of Israel for a king and how God raised Saul to rule them. We also saw how Saul disobeyed God and lost kingship for himself and his generation. He did not stop there, he went on to seek for the death of David, whom he saw as the next heir of the throne. In chapter 31, the last chapter, we see how Saul and all his sons and men were killed, it was tragic, however it was as a sign of relief for David. We could go on counting all the struggles and difficulties we faced in the past year. No, we should not, we should begin to look at all the positives, remembering all the good things God has done for us. If He promised it, He will do it and that is what we hold onto as we go through this year.
