The Argument About GOD!

1Corinthians 8:6

yet for us there is only one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.


The argument about God, His person, His ways and His will, have been before we came into the world and will be after we have left the scene if Christ tarries.


What we believe is that there is only one God and one mediator between God and man.


1Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,


That is what the Christian believes in summary. That doesn't mean people do not believe otherwise but yet in all only Jesus the Christ, Yeshua Hamaschiac could lay claim to the one truth.


John 1:18
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.


All others talked of a God they claimed they heard something from or received a vision from but Christ came from the Father.


He is the source of eternal life.


John 17:3
 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.


1John 5:20
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.


All trying to find meaning in God without the Son does so in futility. That is why those who did not find Him in the old time only knew of a God of wrath, who they lived in fear of and could not relate with, who only punished and destroyed and was not the father figure.


Thank God for the Son, we know a loving Father whom we can relate with and love because He first loved us. He is not far away but dwells in us by His Spirit.


Let us go all over the world and share this good news.


John 1:12
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name:


So do you know God?


John 14:7-9
If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?


You cannot say you know God if You have not known Christ. Selah


You also cannot say You know God if You do not walk in love. For God is love.


1 John 4:8
But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.


So I ask again, do you know God?


Help us Good Lord.


PRAYER
Loving Father reveal Yourself to me again and again in Your Son Jesus the Christ. I know a lifetime is not enough to know You, however I know You more day after day. I love You Lord. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us? MY YEAR OF FULFILMENT

Psalms 57:2 I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. We just finished the book of 1Samuel, in this book we see the cry of Israel for a king and how God raised Saul to rule them. We also saw how Saul disobeyed God and lost kingship for himself and his generation. He did not stop there, he went on to seek for the death of David, whom he saw as the next heir of the throne. In chapter 31, the last chapter, we see how Saul and all his sons and men were killed, it was tragic, however it was as a sign of relief for David. We could go on counting all the struggles and difficulties we faced in the past year. No, we should not, we should begin to look at all the positives, remembering all the good things God has done for us. If He promised it, He will do it and that is what we hold onto as we go through this year.
