JUST GIVE THANKS

1Thessalonians 5:18

"in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."


A new week has started, I have to take care of this and that, oh this has not yet been sorted. Oh Lord why have you not done this or that. Oh I have to deal with this or that, this person and that person did this or that. How do I pay for this or that, why this pain. O what this person or that person did etc.


Just Stop!


Just give thanks.


Listen, it is because we have life that we can complain or make requests. So before anything else thank God for life!


It is good that each day, before anything else we should give thanks to God for giving us life and for giving His Son "Yeshua Hamaschiac, Jesus the Christ" in whom He has allowed all things to dwell.


Colossians 2:9
"For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;"


If you have Jesus you have everything.


Before anything else daily my friend, let us give thanks.


Romans 8:32
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"


And as we keep giving thanks He will keep taking care of all our affairs, success will be easy for us.


Those things you are worried about are little for God to take care of, however more importantly, how is your soul? Is it totally given to the Lord? Or do you have alternatives? Settle this matter now!


He will take care of those things, He has kept You alive because He still has a lot to do in you, with you and through you. Have faith, stay clean, walk with Him.


The troubles are mirages with effects, don't give them preeminence. God has the preeminence He will take care of them.


1 Peter 5:7
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.


Don't forget that first you should:


1 Peter 5:6
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.


The victory is yours and the Glory is God's.


It is your week of favour.


Psalms 35:27
Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, "Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."


The Lord's hand of favour will move in all our endeavours.


A little effort and we will see great results.


3John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

PRAYER
Thank You Loving Father for another blessed day. I trust You to lead me, guide me and make all things fall in place to favour me. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us? MY YEAR OF FULFILMENT

Psalms 57:2 I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. We just finished the book of 1Samuel, in this book we see the cry of Israel for a king and how God raised Saul to rule them. We also saw how Saul disobeyed God and lost kingship for himself and his generation. He did not stop there, he went on to seek for the death of David, whom he saw as the next heir of the throne. In chapter 31, the last chapter, we see how Saul and all his sons and men were killed, it was tragic, however it was as a sign of relief for David. We could go on counting all the struggles and difficulties we faced in the past year. No, we should not, we should begin to look at all the positives, remembering all the good things God has done for us. If He promised it, He will do it and that is what we hold onto as we go through this year.
