BE GRATEFUL, BE THANKFUL

Ephesians 5:20

giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Just like a saltless meal, or food without seasoning so is a prayer life that is devoid of thanksgiving.

The same way it is with us, when we have to deal with ungrateful people be they:

* families

* friends

* colleagues or

* just a contact

We always get to be of help to someone again and again, it is irritating to keep dealing with people who only know how to receive yet they do not know how to be grateful, appreciative or make themselves useful.

Luke 17:16

and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan

We could get so used to receiving that we either forget to, or do not think it necessary to give thanks.

In the same way we have our Father, the author of life. Our sustainer, provider, deliverer, healer and our God.

We should not drift into a routine devoid of thanksgiving. He is God and He deserves it. All that walk with Him knows that He loves our thanksgiving.

Be it:

* through songs

* during worship

* in prayer

* in service

* good deeds to others

* and as testimonies (not lying, for this some people need to be delivered)

We must be of a thankful heart always remembering all He has done for us.

If we have a heart of thanksgiving our lifestyle will show it!

Actually God has settled all things for us!

2Colossians 4:15

For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Revelation 7:12

saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

Psalm 100:4

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Leviticus 22:29

"And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, offer it of your own free will.

God has blessed you, continue in thanksgiving. Never be ungrateful!

PRAYER

Loving Father, may Your peace that passes all understanding fill out hearts afresh O Lord. Thank You for all You have done, are doing and will do in our lives. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Love
