LET IT GO, DELETE IT!

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

From my little experience it seems that everyone has had that thing which had stood as a stumbling block to our release to the full measure of glory in Christ.

It could be a sin, a habit, a desire, a weakness or a certain kind of doubt. It could just be a collection of bad character!

It is that thing which could hold us back when we are about to take that major step forward or obey that instruction that will elevate us to a higher glory.

Most times it says "You are not worthy" then everything becomes still or even returns to a "no-zeal" mode.

Titus 2:14

who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

It is time we drop that thing.

It could be so strong that it destroys ones calling and ministry, then they begin to pursue a strange gospel and a different Christ!

We cannot hold on to it any longer, no matter how long we have held on.  Have we tried and failed or maybe we have told others it is okay, because we find ourselves in it. No we must drop it.

Two things we must note:

* It could still be in our lives

or

* It may be out but the thought of it may still be keeping us captive

One major victory is to acknowledge that it was defeated by Christ on the cross, then the next action is to delete it from our mind.

I see a new grace released to us to take the right action against anything that stands against the glory of God in our lives.

 2Corinthians 10:5

casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Our victory is complete, our inheritance is sure. We now surge ahead.

O help us Good Lord.

Loving Father search me and remove from me everything that does not please You. Delete all it's memory from me that I will never go back to it. Help me Lord for my desire is to please You always. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
