WATCH OUT, DO THE WORK.

1 Chronicles 14:8,16-17

When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, they mobilized all their forces to capture him. But David was told they were coming, so he marched out to meet them.

So David did what God commanded, and they struck down the Philistine army all the way from Gibeon to Gezer.

So David’s fame spread everywhere, and the Lord caused all the nations to fear David.


Listen, the fact that God has done it for you does not mean that you should sleep off. It doesn't mean that the opposer would stop, they may even see reason to come test that which you now claim. Selah.


The apostle wrote:


2 Corinthians 2:11

so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.


Be ready at all times, don't create room for temptation and do not fall into any.


And when they arise, know that you have victory already!


You got that admission, not to play, but to study and put in your best, that is the key to your success 


You got that job to bring value into the company, put in your best own your work, succeed.


You got that marriage to keep, build and enjoy love. Work at it, don't mess it up. Give your best do the right thing, don't open the door to strangers that will destroy it.


You got those children to raise them up in the way of the Lord, work at it, be the good example. Don't waste the chance to build them up while they are young. If you delay and they get older, it may be too late to set them on the right track.


The examples abound . . .


Ecclesiastes 7:8a

Finishing is better than starting. 


You got it means you get to work not to sleep on it!!!


Proverbs 24:33-34

A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—

then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.

 

Get up, watch out, do the work. Your victory is sure.


Open You heart and ears to the Lord, never lose communication with the Heavenly Father. Don't trade it for anything else.


Help us Good Lord.


PRAYER

Loving Father may I keep those good things You have given me. Strengthen me to do the work and keep me in health to enjoy the dividends. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us? MY YEAR OF FULFILMENT

Psalms 57:2 I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. We just finished the book of 1Samuel, in this book we see the cry of Israel for a king and how God raised Saul to rule them. We also saw how Saul disobeyed God and lost kingship for himself and his generation. He did not stop there, he went on to seek for the death of David, whom he saw as the next heir of the throne. In chapter 31, the last chapter, we see how Saul and all his sons and men were killed, it was tragic, however it was as a sign of relief for David. We could go on counting all the struggles and difficulties we faced in the past year. No, we should not, we should begin to look at all the positives, remembering all the good things God has done for us. If He promised it, He will do it and that is what we hold onto as we go through this year.
