KEEP A PURE HEART
1 Chronicles 17:16,26-27
Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and prayed, “Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?
For you are God, O Lord. And you have promised these good things to your servant.
And now, it has pleased you to bless the house of your servant, so that it will continue forever before you. For when you grant a blessing, O Lord, it is an eternal blessing!”
Glory!
Truly it is a blessing to be recognized by the Heavenly Father. I am not talking of people claiming this or that, NO, I am talking of people whose hearts are fully on Him. Those God commend!
John 2:24-25
But Jesus didn’t trust them, because he knew all about people.
No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart.
Never get tired of living a pure life, maintaining a heart that is after the Lord and full of His fruit.
Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Hebrews 6:10-11
For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.
Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.
You can do all the show you like, lie to people and also to yourself, but wait, you can't with God. He doesn't look at the outside but inside!
Stop fooling yourself, no matter how large your congregation or followers are, the one God recognizes are those whose heart are centered on Him. Selah
Stop playing foolish thinking you are smart. Keep a pure heart. Get rid of all those disgusting things you have been holding on to through the years that always keeps you in a state of hate, bitterness or pain. Emancipate Yourself! Let God rule in Your heart.
Stop lying to Yourself.
Never ever think that it is fruitless to stay pure and do the right things. Never play with the contents of your heart.
Philippians 4:8
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Do not compromise your heart, don't lose it to evil thoughts, envy, lying, hatred, and all other evil devices.
The Lord said:
Matthew 5:8
God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
Therefore,
Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
Remember that it is a continuity and not just for a season. It must be your norm to walk in His righteousness.
Don't think that the tempter or enemy will give up!
Luke 4:13
When the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he left him until the next opportunity came.
This is why the apostle admonished:
2 Corinthians 2:11
so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.
Stay faithful, guard your heart, keep only the good thoughts.
O help us Good Lord.
PRAYER
Loving Father, keep me in perfect peace, let my heart always be focused on You. Purify me for Your glory and keep me so forever. I will please You in all things. Help me Lord. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
He calls us blessed.
Love
@the watcher.
