DANGEROUS TIME OUT
Matthew 26:41
Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”
After a stressfull day or week, after a series of challenges or it could even be after a glorious time in His presence, maybe even for days and weeks and maybe with fasting. It may even be after a spiritual battle.
Matthew 4:2
And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.
The body may begin to look for an outing, a time to unwind, or to breathe a bit, away from all the toil.
It is at this time that some may fall into temptation. Depending on the level of christian maturity, one may desire to try out something new.
If one falls, then conscience takes its toll. The enemy begins to speak condemnation.
In military they say "watch out for the last man" when it seems the whole battalion has passed by, an attempt to come out of the safe zone could attract the last man trailing behind, then he brings down the whole battalion.
Romans 8:37
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us
In all one thing is certain, He has given us victory.
Romans 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
So beloved, there is no time out for the believer, no matter how you rest or relax you must never lose consciousness of Your Spirit guidance for the enemy is always patient to wait to strike when least expected. Glory to God, we already have the victory.
So, let us therefore excite ourselves in the Holy Spirit!
Ephesians 5:18
Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit,
We are not drunk with wine but by the Spirit.
Nothing can replace God's Spirit in us, we don't help God, He helps us. Glory.
We win.
PRAYER
Loving Father, keep me alert at all times by Your Spirit I will never fall into any temptations nor any form of deceit. I win because You have already given me victory. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
He calls us blessed.
Love
