ARE YOU STUCK IN THE MUD?

Psalms 3:3

But your strength, O Lord, is round me, you are my glory and the lifter up of my head.


When you do not understand the glory you carry you could succom and be limited to the mundanes.


If any man is in Christ he is not just significant here on earth, the heavens respond to him, recognises the sonship and therefore he draws from the heavenly bank. He doesn't rest merely on the rain that falls on the good and bad but dines as a member of royalty.


1Peter 2:9

But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:


We cannot merely sit idle, we are not mediocre, we have a purpose, a mission, we are relevant.


Know that even when you sit and do nothing events keep coming up to take your cool and cause you pain. So why not define the events, take charge.


Proverbs 16:9

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.


Then better to stay active, than to fall while being inactive.


Don't be stuck in the mud. Reject all the junks being tossed at you, you may have held on to them for so long, even from your childhood. It is time to let them all go. It is time to take on that which is from the Lord God, the lifter of our head.


This morning I see a fresh zeal, a new strength, we will look beyond what we see or feel to what God has done.


The heavens await us to take that step each day and yes we will.


No more trapped in the mud. No more complaining. No more blaming others. No more bad character but the fruit of the Spirit is our nature. 


No more deceit.


Romans 8:19

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.


We win.


PRAYER 

Loving Father I let go of all the garbage that I have held on to through the years, I am free and out of the mud, I walk in Your Spirit, I do exploits. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us? MY YEAR OF FULFILMENT

Psalms 57:2 I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. We just finished the book of 1Samuel, in this book we see the cry of Israel for a king and how God raised Saul to rule them. We also saw how Saul disobeyed God and lost kingship for himself and his generation. He did not stop there, he went on to seek for the death of David, whom he saw as the next heir of the throne. In chapter 31, the last chapter, we see how Saul and all his sons and men were killed, it was tragic, however it was as a sign of relief for David. We could go on counting all the struggles and difficulties we faced in the past year. No, we should not, we should begin to look at all the positives, remembering all the good things God has done for us. If He promised it, He will do it and that is what we hold onto as we go through this year.
