HOW DOES HEAVEN SEE YOU?

Matthew 5:3

“God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Have you ever sat down to ask yourself, "how does God see me?".

All your complains, endeavours, goals, dreams, investments, studies, activities etc. What are they targeted at?

Have you hurt people all the way through life? Has it just been all about you? What seeds have you sown, of discord or of love? What really has been your story through the time you have been here?

Do you know your maker?

When the Messiah walked the earth, He asked:

Mark 8:37

Is anything worth more than your soul?

Why is this question important?

It is important because, your soul is the real you!

Your body is flesh it will rot, your spirit is God's it will return to Him, but your soul is you, your consciousness, emotion, feeling ...

This is what the enemy targets, this is also what God requires from us. For it is ours to give! Selah

When God gives instructions it is for the good of your soul.

This is why Jesus said:

Matthew 15:17-20

“Anything you eat passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer.

But the words you speak come from the heart—that’s what defiles you.

For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander.

These are what defile you. Eating with unwashed hands will never defile you.”

You can make your self look good, pretend about whatever, however, when it comes to God, He looks into your soul to see what is there. Selah

I ask again:

"How does the heaven see you?"

The beauty of this is that because you are alive you can make amends to purify your heart and let God dwell therein.

Matthew 5:8-9

God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.

God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.

What dung have you accumulated over the years. From your parents, your birth environment, people you grew up with, books you have read, movies or any skit you have watched, social media, or the world in it's current state of decadence.

You can let it all go and let God!

Letting God is not only coming to Him because you have faced a challenge, that is why I do not totally flow with these ceremonious programmes when people gather for miracles, breakthroughs etc.

Know God for yourself, be in His presence daily. Come on, talk to your Heavenly Father, live for Him, in your home, office, school, anywhere. Enough of all these hypocritical living, transactional and ceremonial relationship with the One who made you and you would account to. Can we come off it.

How does God see you?

These should bother you more than your appetite, lust, ego, self relevance.

Romans 12:1-2

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

If God is your father, then you think the way He thinks and act the way He acts.

Matthew 5:45,48

In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Can we begin to get it right!

O help us Good Lord. Indeed You have helped us.

PRAYER 

Loving Father You know You are everything to me. Lord take away from me anything that does not glorify You. I hold on to only that which is of You and indeed they are greater and mightier than anything the world can offer. I am great, I am Your offspring. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.
