ARE YOU PURE?

Matthew 5:8

God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.

What is purity, it means free from filth.

The Oxford dictionary gives two related definitions of the English word "purity":

1. "freedom from adulteration or contamination.

2. "freedom from immorality, especially of a sexual nature."

Literally, purity has to do with freedom from contamination, that means you canNot be talking of being pure if the initial state is not pure prior to contamination. Selah

This is why everyone must be born again. The new birth gives you the initial state of cleanliness, purity, then you sustain that by His Spirit. This is what Christ was telling Nicodemus:

John 3:3,5

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.

The initial state of man was pure because all that God created was good and man was made in His image. Man fell and became impure because of sin.

Man had to be returned to His clean state, a fresh start.

This is what Christ came to do.

2 Corinthians 5:17

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

No wonder scriptures say:

Isaiah 64:6

We are all infected and impure with sin. 

When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. 

Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.

This is why Christ has to come, teach, live amongst us, suffer, die then rise again and ascend into glory for our total redemption and victory.

Glory to God.

The problem then is having known and experienced all these, you decide to again walk in impurity!

No, it should not be so.

Proverbs 4:23

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

No, you guard that which God has done for you that you do not lose it. Do not gamble with your purity. Do not trade it for anything else. DO NOT ALLOW THOSE EVIL AND WICKED THOUGHTS IN YOUR HEART, IMMEDIATELY, "CAST THEM OUT".

Matthew 13:45-46

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls.

When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!

Listen, you say you are a child of God and the only thing that comes out of you is evil, plots, schemes, you see everything as a competition and attack etc. You really need to be delivered.

That is why you go from one problem to another, you are never completely happy because God's peace doesn't live in you. Let go of all those baggage. Be free!

Romans 12:18

Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

Proverbs 3:29-30

Don’t plot harm against your neighbor, for those who live nearby trust you.

Don’t pick a fight without reason, when no one has done you harm.

If we are truly going to be pure, all these NONSENSE must stop!

Listen, your purity is from your heart. You can show a face saying everything is okay, however what matters is your heart.

What are you thinking, what are you saying when it seems no one can hear you?

Do you know that God looks at your heart.

Clean your heart.

Hear Christ again.

Matthew 5:8

Matthew 5:8 

Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Stop deceiving yourself.

Purify your heart, else God would have nothing to do with you.

O help us Good Lord.

PRAYER

Loving Father, make me and keep me pure for You. Let only Your good thoughts fill my heart. I will see You Lord again and again, therefore I stay pure. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.
