ARE YOU MERCIFUL

Matthew 5:7

God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy.


When we talk of mercy we talk of forgiveness, we talk of showing kindness to those who do not deserve it or are not our responsibility! Mercy means you wish others well.


Are you merciful?


Who is our example of the merciful? The Heavenly Father Himself:


Exodus 34:6

The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, 

“Yahweh! The Lord! 

The God of compassion and mercy! 

I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.


Listen, most of us claim to be God's children but do we act like Him? Do we carry His nature?


Galatians 5:22-23

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!


Many claim to know God, however His nature is not found in them and the Messiah was clear when He said:


Matthew 7:16a

You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. 


How do you act? Are you merciful or are you vindictive, never forgiving, thinking evil of others and refusing to render help when you can.


Do you join others to do evil, are you happy to label others as evil and to bring others down, do you wish or celebrate people's down moments?  THIS TELLS THE TYPE OF SPIRIT IN YOU.


I am not happy with most of the celebrated ministers today, they breed a lot of people who gather in His name but do not have His nature in them.


Celebrity Christians, ceremonials, transactional believers who only come to God because they need this or that. They do not live the life of the faithfully yet they want to claim the blessings of the faithful.


Do you know God?


If you do, you would know that He is merciful and you would also be merciful.


Are you merciful to your:


* spouse

* children

* parents 

* employer

* employees

* family 

* others

?


What really is in your inside? This is the major thing, for God looks at your inside.


Sit back, meditate, ask yourself, what really is my content, what is my character?


If you would obtain mercy from the Lord, you must be merciful.


Stop the excuses, stop lying to yourself. Take on the nature of Christ.


We win.


PRAYER 

Loving Father, I take on your nature, I will be merciful just as You are merciful. Help me Lord. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
