DO YOU LOVE?

1John 4:7-8

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.

But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.


It is indeed important to ask this question.


People ask what is real love, what is the greatest love story?


Here it is:


1 John 4:9-11

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.


There are many stories and definitions of Love.


Yet the greatest of all is the one of Him who is above all things and from whom all things have their origin.


He is the one who made us "human" come to existence. He is Yahweh, God the Almighty.


1John 4:8

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.


God is love but His love is not an abstract one, His love made Him sacrifice His Son for us, that His blood will cleanse us from all sin, and then grant us the right to be children of God. Then heirs in Christ Jesus.


1John 4:9

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.


God loves us, in return what does He expect from us.


Simple -  to love Him also.


He even commanded it.


Deuteronomy 6:5

"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.


Psalm 31:23

Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person.


Mathew 22:37

Jesus said to him, " 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'


What does it mean to love God?


1John 5:3

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.


God's command to us in the New Testament is simple.


1John 3:23

And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.


So friends, you love God if:


1. You believe in His Son Jesus who He sacrificed for you.


2. You love others who God has put around you.


The prove of our believe in His Son is when we share His testimony with others and live as an example.


2Corinthians 5:20

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.


Your love for others is also shown in your desire to see them escape the destruction in hell. To ensure that the enjoy eternity with Yeshua Hamaschiac "Jesus the Christ"


He loved us, then gave His life, we also love Him and give our life.


Our daily declaration should include:


"FATHER I LOVE YOU AND TODAY I WILL SHOW IT"


May God's love reflect through us


In word, thought and deed.


His love for us is so great that we do not need to be afraid, no one can bring us down because he will hide us under His wings.


Psalm 91:2

I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.


Glory to God.


PRAYER

Thank You Loving Father for Your love and sacrifice through the revelation of You in Christ Jesus. Help me to daily live this true love in all I think, speak and do. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
