AS YOU TEACH - WATCH YOURSELF

2Timothy 4:3

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears

Every christian has a role of a teacher, we have a duty to lead. We are called to also call others back to God.

It could begin from our children.

Deuteronomy 6:7

"you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Psalms 34:11

Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

We learn, we are fed, we also need to feed others.

We are relevant.

Yet in all, we are cautious that we may not err.

The world is a battle, every believer must be serious. The enemy strives to make us complacent but he would not succeed for our peace and rest is in the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 6:12

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

BUT . . .

Colossians 1:16

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Colossians 2:15

Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Therefore we run and yet rejoice.

There are so many acclaimed preachers today with divers titles, how many of them are truly of God. Some have become so warsped that they only thing they have to teach is mammon!

Others are trapped in pursuing demons and witches. Some more are busy putting fear into people so that they can dominate their lives. Why some more are making those who follow them walk in sin and yet claim to be God's own. What a confusion!

Who is truly preaching that message of peace, the message of love. That God came to save man from sin and death and bring them into His family, where they truly belong. That we now dwell in fellowship with Him.

May the Lord grant us grace to understand and to obey.

We will not fail,

We will not falter,

We will not fall.

The Lord will be pleased with us.

PRAYER

Loving Father yes I will teach Your word, I will be a witness. Keep me pure and faithful that I would not miss it even as I serve You. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Love

@the watcher.
