DOES IT MATTER?

1 Chronicles 1:1,8,24,27,34

The descendants of Adam were Seth, Enosh,

The descendants of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

So this is the family line descended from Shem: Arphaxad, Shelah,

and Abram, later known as Abraham.

Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.

Does your genealogy matter?

Opening the first book of Chronicles, you see lists of names stating the genealogies of the people of old from Adam, listing his sons all the way to Abraham then to Israel it kept going till it got to the genealogy of priests.

Why is this important?

Note that all these people listed where either just names mentioned or noted as people who made an impact be it positive or negative. (not just in this book but in other records)

1 Chronicles 1:10

Cush was also the ancestor of Nimrod, who was the first heroic warrior on earth.

Surely everyone has a background, a genealogy line that tells who their ancestors where. Some could be called great, having achieved one feat or the other, some may have evil records while some may just be obscure, not known.

Listen, you do not have to be defined by your lineage, you hold your destiny in your hands.

When Christ came, He came to bring those who believed into the main family, the real family, the original family of the creator:

John 1:12

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

Romans 8:17

And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

So do not trap yourself in the mistakes of your parents. Do not accept any sort of inherited curse. Why do people always talk of inherited curses, what happened to inherited blessings, doesn't that work too? Selah

Listen, you create your own destiny, and if you have come to Christ then you are on the right path, anyone who wants to stop you has to go through Him first.

Throw away every mundane and evil thing that has been in your lineage, you are not to copy or make the same mistakes your parents did. No, you watch out for them and avoid them, however you take the good examples they have laid. (Remember that the bad started from a time, also the good started from a time when someone took a stand!)

Abraham came from a time when everyone worshipped idols, but He heard of the true God and stuck with Him, throwing away that which came from His lineage and we know Him now as the father of faith.

Chart your course, let no one draw you back.

Dive into God's word, stay in prayer and worship, study, work knowing that you are building a good heritage crafting a niche that would create a new line of successful and prosperous generation.

Wake up and Stand, with the Lord on Your side you conquer.

Throw away the negatives of the past, those garbage you noticed from your parents, or family ties, build something beautiful, build a godly heritage.

Stop dragging yourself back with dirty gossips, envy, hate, monitoring people so you can have something to say about them (a subtle form of witchcraft), negative thinking and other form of disgusting attitudes like always wanting to see something negative in people. 

Save yourself! cut off any relationship that drags you into those filth, stop driving away the angels on assignment in your life with the wrong aora, just STOP IT

Create the new aora, yes the atmosphere where God's presence would always be that His angels can be of good service to you.

That is what actually matters. So Fix it!

PRAYER

Loving Father, I throw away every rubbish of the past no matter where it came from, I hold on to the glory You have revealed for me. I am a success, a conqueror and I do good things. Yes. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
