WHAT IS GOD SAYING?

Genesis 35:11

And God said unto him, I [am] God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

What is God saying about this?

What is God's will?

What step should I take?

Questions keep raging in our hearts over different issues, we want answers and very well we do.

 2Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The word of God still remains potent and keeps us in tune with what the Father says.

The Holy Spirit gives us deep interpretation and also the wisdom to apply.

A believer who is conversant with the word of God would easily understand what God says at each point in time.

When Jesus arose and read the scripture prophesying about Himself, he said that the scriptures were fulfilled in the presence of the people

 Luke 4:21

And He began to say to them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

Your constant study of the bible will give substance to the revelation the Holy Spirit interpretes to you.

John 14:26

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

You can only remember what you have read.

Wisdom is application of knowledge.

Let us get used to the bible, it contains the scriptures. That we may have knowledge by which divine wisdom is displayed.

Joshua 1:8

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

When you are conversant with God's word in the scriptures. You know which voice speaking at anytime is from God and by the power of the Holy Spirit, which is meant for you.

Have you studied the scriptures today?

Hebrews 1:1-3

Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets.

And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.

Understand that John 1:1 explains the Christ is also the Word!

Listen, there is a lot of noise in the world, if you don't let the scriptures guide you, you will be long lost out of the path before you know it.

No pastor, prophet, Bishop, Pope, General overseer or whatever their title is should replace God's word in your life. They are there to guide and help you not replace. Selah!

Hmm, it is a slippery road, everyone would account for themselves. Be careful!

Prayer:

Lord feed me with your word daily. May I never miss your voice, may I always know what you say. Thank you for your Holy Spirit, thank you for your love.

He calls us blessed.

Love
