WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? ( a reminder)

Isaiah 26:3

Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.

Trusting God is actually the lifestyle of the believer. The portion of the verse of prophesy we see in Isaiah 26:3 spoke of the difficult part. . . "whose mind is stayed on thee" ...

It brings us to the revelation through Apostle Paul:

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The renewing of the mind is a change from that which we have learnt from the world to that which the spirit of God breeds in us.

That is, our mind is on Christ Jesus, we are transformed to His person day after day.

2 Corinthians 5:17(NLT)

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

However we wonder if every believer had this experience!

When one speaks and you feel bitterness, hatred, jealousy or a type of competition you begin to wonder what kind of spirit they carry.

Recall the first verse, if your mind is in Christ, one thing you experience is "PERFECT PEACE" it is the evidence of the spirit you carry.

The issue is we forget that all the laws and prophets and the commands are summed up in one. . .LOVE

If you don't have it you are not of God.

1 John 3:14,23

If we love our brothers and sisters who are believers, it proves that we have passed from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead.

And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.

So, what are you thinking. Check, compare with the word, then make corrections.

You have helped us Good Lord.

Lord, according to Your word, the peace of the Lord which passes all understanding dwell on us now and forever. Amen.
