THE SACRIFICE

1 John 2:2

He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.

Many, most times, take for granted what they receive. One reason they do, is that they do not know how much was sacrificed to meet that need.

Romans 8:32

 "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"

John 1:1-2, 14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Most people, even some who have believed, do not know how much the presence of the Son in the Father's bosom meant to God.

John 1:18

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him].

Hebrews 1:2

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

We do not know what vacuum was created when the Son had to come down to us here on earth to create the way back to the Father.

Colossians 2:9

"For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;"

Proverbs 8:30

Then I was by him, [as] one brought up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him;

It was a great sacrifice God made to bring us back to Him as sons and daughters.

2Corinthians 6:18

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

As we remember the death and resurrection of the Christ, son of the Living God. May our faith be stronger, may our ways please Him and may we lead others to find salvation in Him.

Let us get rid of all those negative character that negates God in us and belittles the price that was paid for us. Instead, let us be filled with His Spirit to have and exhibit the nature of our God.

He saved us by sacrificing Himself, let us sacrifice ourselves in being faithful to Him.

We will not err.

Help us Good Lord.

PRAYER

We remember Your sacrifice afresh loving Father and we remain eternally grateful. Help us Lord to remain faithful to You in all things that we may continually bask in Your glory released to us. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.
