DON'T LIMIT GOD

1 Kings 20:23-25,29-30

After their defeat, Ben-hadad’s officers said to him, “The Israelite gods are gods of the hills; that is why they won. But we can beat them easily on the plains.

Only this time replace the kings with field commanders!

Recruit another army like the one you lost. Give us the same number of horses, chariots, and men, and we will fight against them on the plains. There’s no doubt that we will beat them.” So King Ben-hadad did as they suggested.

The two armies camped opposite each other for seven days, and on the seventh day the battle began. The Israelites killed 100,000 Aramean foot soldiers in one day.

The rest fled into the town of Aphek, but the wall fell on them and killed another 27,000. Ben-hadad fled into the town and hid in a secret room.


One mistake the opposition makes is to limit our God, it is a great mistake for they always end up finding out the hard way.


Most of the experiences the children of Israel had were the move of angels, the power influenced by a single angel could bring down an army, do we talk of what happened to the wall of Jericho, or in Egypt?


We must not limit God!


The problem most times is that those who are supposed to be God's own, leave the right path to live like those against Him, but they are yet quick to run to Him when they have troubles. It should not be so.


We are to stay daily in His presence, that we do not need to run here and there, but instead have the Lord on our side at all times.


Do we talk of the power of fore-knowledge.


1 Kings 20:21-22

However, the king of Israel destroyed the other horses and chariots and slaughtered the Arameans.

Afterward the prophet said to King Ahab, “Get ready for another attack. Begin making plans now, for the king of Aram will come back next spring.”


That advantage of knowing in advance puts you in front of your competition. You may not know expressly what is ahead but when the Lord directs you the outcome would be as if you have known the future and taken full advantage of it!


Always remember that God is not in time and space, it was created by Him, so He is not limited. We are the ones with the limitation.


He will show His unlimited love and favour towards us.


Glory to God forevermore.


PRAYER

Loving Father, You have no limit, You are God, I worship You today. Lord I dwell in Your presence that I will be led by You to conquer. I am highly blessed. Glory to Your name Lord.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
