SO HIGH YET HE CARES FOR US
Then Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in front of the entire community of Israel. He lifted his hands toward heaven,
and he prayed,“O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven above or on the earth below. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.
“But will God really live on earth? Why, even the highest heavens cannot contain you. How much less this Temple I have built!
Nevertheless, listen to my prayer and my plea, O Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is making to you today.
Have you ever thought of how High and Glorious God is, how much powerful and big He is. The whole universe is just a figment to Him.
Isaiah 40:22,25-26
God sits above the circle of the earth.
The people below seem like grasshoppers to him!
He spreads out the heavens like a curtain and makes his tent from them.
“To whom will you compare me?
Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One.
Look up into the heavens.
Who created all the stars?
He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name.
Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing.
Yet in all these glory the Heavenly Father has thought for man that He created.
Is this not great. Then why would we not want to take advantage of it and not lose this grace?
We should come closer to Him to enjoy the Fatherly love and care which He gives to us as His children, including all the chastisement and continual growth.
We cannot afford to make the mistake the children of Israel made.
Hebrews 3:12-15
Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.
You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
Remember what it says:
“Today when you hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts
as Israel did when they rebelled.”
Why would we look for another when there is only one.
He said:
Isaiah 45:5a
I am the Lord; there is no other God.
There is no salvation anywhere else.
Acts 4:12
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
We must take advantage of God's open invitation to us.
Can we stop chasing after men, religion, world and all these things that are just vanity and come to our Heavenly Father.
Can we take care of our eternity now while we are here on earth and yet enjoy the glory of His presence here on earth day after day.
As we go about our daily schedule may we understand that we are not in this world as a prey of the enemy but a child of the God who created the heaven and the earth.
Glory to the Lord who created the heavens and the earth and yet cares for us.
PRAYER
Loving Father, keep us faithful to You, enjoying Your Fatherly love even as we obey You in all things and do what pleases You always. I love You Lord. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
He calls us blessed.
