IT IS TIME TO MOVE FORWARD

Exodus 14:15

And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:


There is nothing wrong in resting, it is actually wisdom to know when to rest, to take time out. However the rest is for you to arise renewed and keep moving forward.


As we continue our journey through this world, time and again we face challenges that slow us down. Situations do arise that make us suddenly pause and sometimes it could seem so overwhelming that we feel all would come to an end.


Other times we could be our own stumbling block.


However, we are not moved by feeling but by FAITH!


For the believer we should understand that we are not on our own, the Lord is with us.


Psalm 46:1-3

God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

 [Though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.


The children of Israel faced the red sea, God said move forward! Why? BECAUSE HE IS GOD!


Yes, for we are limited by time, He is limited by nothing:


Isaiah 45:22

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.


Isaiah 48:17

Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go.


So no matter what seems to block our moving ahead, we will turn and see it behind us, because the Lord leadeth us by the way.


So what do I need to do? 


Listen, to God's voice that you may know when you need to move, rest or wait awhile. 


We do this by continually praying, studying the word and worshipping, this helps us to be always in His presence.


Remember that there are so many things calling for our attention. Not all of them are for our good, some are time wasters while others are traps to lead us into destruction or disconnect from God.


So instead of gossiping, worrying or occupying yourself with other evil or non-profitable vices, pray and meditate on the word of God.


Be careful what you listen to.


Be careful what you let into your heart and eventually your soul.


A filled cup will prevent anything to get into it!


What have you filled yourself with?


To move forward you must unload all the baggages and take up God's wings.

PRAYER

Loving Father open my ears and heart to hear Your direction. Delete from me Lord whatever it is that is stopping me from enjoying full fellowship and guidance from You. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
