ROUGH BEGINNING
1 Samuel 21:10-11
So David escaped from Saul and went to King Achish of Gath.
But the officers of Achish were unhappy about his being there. “Isn’t this David, the king of the land?” they asked. “Isn’t he the one the people honor with dances, singing,
‘Saul has killed his thousands, and David his ten thousands’?”
Most of the record of those who had received God's grace to excel in scriptures experienced their difficult moments. They had what we can call the "rough beginning".
Jacob had to flee from his father's house to go stay with his mother's relatives. Joseph was sold into slavery to a strange land. Moses had to flee for his life. Mordecai had gallows built to hang him, the lists continues.
Here we see David who was already anointed king fleeing from Saul into the enemy's territory. It got so bad that he had to act like a madman to avoid being killed.
We must not go into despair when we face our initial challenges for it is just for a while, everything will fall into place in a short while.
1 Peter 5:10
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.
Are you facing tough times, be encouraged, it is only for a little while, God is working out your breakthrough. You will come out stronger and better.
Don't be discouraged with that seeming degrading situation, it is only for a little while, your upliftment is on the way.
Just stay faithful, watch, pray and listen.
Remember:
Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Glory.
You may cry today and shout to God for help, your answer is here, it won't be long now.
Psalms 107:28-31
“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.
He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves.
What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into harbor!
Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
Glory to God.
PRAYER
Glory to You Dear Loving Father, for You have heard my prayer and have come to help me. Lord You are lifting me up, my breakthrough is here, no one can stop it. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
He calls us blessed.
Love
@the watcher.
