SONG OF REJOICING

1 Samuel 2:2,9-10

No one is holy like the Lord! 

There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.

“He will protect his faithful ones, but the wicked will disappear in darkness. 

No one will succeed by strength alone. 

Those who fight against the Lord will be shattered. 

He thunders against them from heaven; the Lord judges throughout the earth. 

He gives power to his king; he increases the strength of his anointed one.”


As my father used to say: "after the rain comes the sunshine". Hannah had a song of praise. She had gone through her period of pain but she knew where help comes from.


She called on the Lord, went even as far as making a vow and the Lord heard her.


It is your time to sing, for the Lord has heard you and is fulfilling that request of yours. 


Always remember that He has been there for you all these years, you may only be conscious of what you need or desire now, however, the Lord fights so much battles for you that you are not aware of.


We learn from Hannah to trust in the Lord, yes we have cried, but it is time to bring it to the Lord. When Hannah heard a reassurance from God's representative she wiped her tears and went home rejoicing.


1 Samuel 1:17-18

“In that case,” Eli said, “go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.”

“Oh, thank you, sir!” she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.


Hear today, the Lord has heard you and He says, dry your tears begin to rejoice.


Glory to God.


PRAYER

I lifted my eyes to the hills and my help has come from You Lord. Thank You for taking care of me. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
