TERRITORIAL VICTORY

Joshua 15:20,41,54,57,59-60,62

This was the homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Judah.

Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah—sixteen towns with their surrounding villages.

Humtah, Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), and Zior—nine towns with their surrounding villages.

Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah—ten towns with their surrounding villages.

Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon—six towns with their surrounding villages.

There were also Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim) and Rabbah—two towns with their surrounding villages.

Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En-gedi—six towns with their surrounding villages.

It was a total of 38 towns, initially allocated to the tribe of Judah. So much an inheritance in the promise land. We saw yesterday the victory of the faithful, how we reap the fruit of plenty when we remain faithful.

As believers we talk of territories not only as land area occupation but more importantly as territories won for the Lord.

The fulfilment of the prophesy:

Habakkuk 2:14

For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord.

We use all the Lord has given us to fulfil this one purpose.

That the whole world come to know the Heavenly Father revealed through Christ Jesus.

Listen, definitely the whole world would know when the end comes, but we don't have to wait for that.

For Jesus said:

Matthew 24:38-39

In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat.

People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.

We don't have to wait till then, we must reach out to those who will believe.

As Paul wrote by revelation:

2 Corinthians 5:18-21

And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

How? You may ask. I don't have much money, I am not eloquent, I am not a mega pastor etc.

Listen,

You have your area of influence.

You have your internet presence.

You have your neighbourhood presence.

You have your family.

You have your local assembly. (Join the evangelical team and give a hand)

Give a hand somewhere, your talent must not be hidden, it must be multiplied.

Areas abound.

No believer is left out, spread the gospel.

The true gospel, not breakthrough promises, or generic prayers, or other distractions. But the gospel of Christ the saviour of the world. God revealed on earth.

Let us take over territories.

Fill the airwaves with the real gospel of Christ!

Help us Good Lord.

PRAYER

O Lord reveal to me my part in Your kingdom business. Help me Lord be Your representative everywhere You locate me. May all the wisdom revealed in these later times be my tool to fulfil Your purpose. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
