STILL ON THE TAKE OVER

Joshua 16:4-5,10

This was the homeland allocated to the families of Joseph’s sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

The following territory was given to the clans of the tribe of Ephraim.The boundary of their homeland began at Ataroth-addar in the east. From there it ran to Upper Beth-horon,

They did not drive the Canaanites out of Gezer, however, so the people of Gezer live as slaves among the people of Ephraim to this day.


The Israelites continued to the take over the territories of the promised land. Anyone who stood in their way was wiped out while others who were wise to surrender became like slaves.


The beauty of it all was that they had God on their side, it was His will being fulfilled.


No matter what argument anyone puts forward, we must always remember that:


Psalms 24:1-2

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. 

The world and all its people belong to him.

For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths.


That the Lord seems to be quiet in some things doesn't mean He is not in control, we have always reiterated here that we humans have the power of choice and God most times doesn't interfere with it.


So, it is God who works in us to will and do for His good pleasure.


However it will take our submission to make His will happen in our lives.


We have cities to conquer, we have people to bring into the kingdom of God. We must see beyond those things that continually take our hearts away from the Lord, to seeing the Lord Himself.


For to win the battle, the Lord Himself must be present with you.


Go beyond the little distractions, persecutions and all forms of attack to being led by the Spirit that you might fulfil the purpose, that you might take over the  territories assigned to you.


You can start with your immediate family and then keep going from there.


The first place to take over is yourself.


Luke 10:19

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.


Remember that all your gifts, talents and your anointing is not just for show or your personal pleasure but to please the Lord God by fulfilling your calling.


Help us Good Lord.


PRAYER

Dear Loving Father, keep me in Your presence forevermore, doing what pleases You and fulfilling my purpose. May I totally take over the territories that You have assigned to me and bring them to total submission to You. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
