SEE BEYOND THE OBSTACLE

Joshua 17:14-18

The descendants of Joseph came to Joshua and asked, “Why have you given us only one portion of land as our homeland when the lord has blessed us with so many people?”
Joshua replied, “If there are so many of you, and if the hill country of Ephraim is not large enough for you, clear out land for yourselves in the forest where the Perizzites and Rephaites live.”
The descendants of Joseph responded, “It’s true that the hill country is not large enough for us. But all the Canaanites in the lowlands have iron chariots, both those in Beth-shan and its surrounding settlements and those in the valley of Jezreel. They are too strong for us.”
Then Joshua said to the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, the descendants of Joseph, “Since you are so large and strong, you will be given more than one portion.
The forests of the hill country will be yours as well. Clear as much of the land as you wish, and take possession of its farthest corners. And you will drive out the Canaanites from the valleys, too, even though they are strong and have iron chariots.”

If you focus on the obstacles you limit yourself from achieving. All victory(s) come after the battle.

Just like the other spies, who went to spy the land, called themselves grasshoppers in the sight of their foe instead of believing in God who sent them. We must not give in to the distraction of the obstacles when the Lord has already given us the go ahead.

If David was focusing on the height, strength and experience of Goliath, he wouldn't have brought him down for even king Saul tried to dissuade him.

What was David's victory, he focused on God. So, the victory was eminent.

What we focus on matters, it determines our victory.

We must not let the obstacles block our view of the eminent victory for the One we trust in, is more than able.

Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

Just as Cece Winans sang:

"Your goodness is running after, it's running after me
Your goodness is running after, it's running after me
With my life laid down, I surrendered now
I give You everything, oh Lord
Your goodness is running after, it's running after me
Your goodness is running after, it's running after me"

Imagine all the glory, power, authority and blessings man had, he traded them for a distraction, that which the Lord said, he should not take!

We will Not stumble on the obstacles, instead we will go over them to our victory.

Arise brethren let us go and win.

PRAYER
Dear Lord may I not be distracted or opposed by any obstacle, instead may they be stepping stones to my victory. I look unto You Lord, I have victory. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed
