LED TO VICTORY

Judges 4:7

And I will call out Sisera, commander of Jabin’s army, along with his chariots and warriors, to the Kishon River. There I will give you victory over him.”

One thing you will understand about victory, if you have been going through the six first books of the bible and now in the seventh book, is that it is by obedience to instructions.

From Noah to Abraham, Jacob to Moses and to the children of Israel, they had their victory by following instructions.

Therefore we can say that to be victorious in this life, you must be disciplined to follow instructions.

Look at it, when Christ was finally leaving the earth He instructed His disciples:

Acts 1:3-5
During the forty days after he suffered and died, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God.
Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before.
John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

Therefore every believer must be tuned to God's frequency continually to know what He is saying concerning every aspect of our lives if we are to live victoriously.

There is so much noise in the world, not withstanding, we must not let it fill our heart or mind, instead we let God's word fill our mind.

To breakthrough you must breakout of the crowd.

2 Corinthians 6:17-18
Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord.
Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.
And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the lord Almighty.”

Deborah in our reading today was a woman, but she had separated herself to the Lord. She could therefore hear from the Lord and lead the children of Israel to defeat their oppressor.

Judges 4:4-5
Deborah, the wife of Lappidoth, was a prophet who was judging Israel at that time.
She would sit under the Palm of Deborah, between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites would go to her for judgment.

To be relevant in God's plan in your time, you must separate yourself to Him.

Truly we have diverse gifts and assignments. May we discover ours, and fulfill them.

Help us Good Lord.
