ALLOCATION

Joshua 15:1-2,12

The allotment for the clans of the tribe of Judah reached southward to the border of Edom, as far south as the wilderness of Zin.

The southern boundary began at the south bay of the Dead Sea,

The western boundary was the shoreline of the Mediterranean Sea.These are the boundaries for the clans of the tribe of Judah.

Reading through the first twelve verses of this chapter, it seems that there was no message or revelation in this record. However, it reminds us of the final allocation when our time here is over.

Revelation 3:21

Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.

Yesterday we looked at reward, we understood that our labour of love is never in vain.

This same way Christ kept talking about allocation when He lived physically with us on earth.

John 14:2-3

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

Matthew 25:34

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.

Look at them now allocating lands, but few years ago they were walking through the desert.

Joshua 15:7-11

From that point it went through the valley of Achor to Debir, turning north toward Gilgal, which is across from the slopes of Adummim on the south side of the valley. From there the boundary extended to the springs at En-shemesh and on to En-rogel.

The boundary then passed through the valley of Ben-Hinnom, along the southern slopes of the Jebusites, where the city of Jerusalem is located. Then it went west to the top of the mountain above the valley of Hinnom, and on up to the northern end of the valley of Rephaim.

From there the boundary extended from the top of the mountain to the spring at the waters of Nephtoah, and from there to the towns on Mount Ephron. Then it turned toward Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).

The boundary circled west of Baalah to Mount Seir, passed along to the town of Kesalon on the northern slope of Mount Jearim, and went down to Beth-shemesh and on to Timnah.

The boundary then proceeded to the slope of the hill north of Ekron, where it turned toward Shikkeron and Mount Baalah. It passed Jabneel and ended at the Mediterranean Sea.

All these were Judah's territory alone.

Only the faithful duo were part of these allocation from the generation that left Egypt - Joshua and Caleb.

We must learn from them.

The prophet's declaration from God comes to mind:

Habakkuk 2:2-3

Then the Lord said to me,

“Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.

This vision is for a future time.

It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.

If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place.

It will not be delayed.

Our allocation is almost here, it is not time to give up, but to keep moving forward.

Make good use of time, invest wisely, stay in prayer that your senses will be in tune to the Spirit's leading, the doors are opening for you, the breakthrough is here.

Remember that it is not just about prosperity in the flesh but prosperity in the Spirit.

Stay strong keep being productive.

Your allocation is here and in the time to come.

Glory to God.

PRAYER

Dear Lord I know that You will allocate me with Your inheritance here on earth and in the time after here with You forever. Lord keep me faithful, fruitful and favoured. Let me please You Lord in all things. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Love

@the watcher.
