TEACH THEM TO OBEY

Deuteronomy 6:1-2,24-25

“These are the commands, decrees, and regulations that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you. You must obey them in the land you are about to enter and occupy,

and you and your children and grandchildren must fear the lord your God as long as you live. If you obey all his decrees and commands, you will enjoy a long life.

And the Lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear him so he can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as he has done to this day.

For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the Lord our God has given us.’

As we said yesterday, no nation can thrive were there are no good laws and ordinances. For where there are no laws or regulations chaos is eminent, people will do whatever pleases them.

It is therefore good for the next generation to be taught these laws and be guided to inculcate them as young people so that it is not strange to them as they get older.

There is a strange push by certain cults to push the agenda of an evil freedom to children to make them see abominable acts as legitimate and force them to experiment dangerous practices which has caused traumas and pains to people over the years.

These sects must be of the evil one, however they have penetrated seats of authority in corridors of power and are pushing this evil agenda with so much rigor. The will fail as we continue to pray and trust in the Lord.

The best a child can have is to know their creator. Over the years His laws and regulations have been a blessings for everyone, they would not be an exception.

Jesus said:

Matthew 19:14-15

But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”

And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.

There is a woe from Christ on anyone who will lead children astray!

Matthew 18:2-3,5-6

Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them.

Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.

“And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me.

But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Just as Moses instructed the children of Israel to guide their children in the ways of the Lord, Christ also instructs us to lead the little children to the Father through Him.

God bless all those teachers who have committed themselves to raise our children in all our churches and gatherings the Lord remembers their labour of love and will surely reward them here and in the life to come.

All parents who have taken up the responsibility (for it is their primary assignment) to raise their children in the ways of the Lord. The Lord will definitely make their children a blessing to them here on earth and of course they are rewarded in the life to come.

All teachers, educators and leaders who have fought and worked to make the life of children an honour to the Lord and lead them aright, have blessings here on earth and in the word to come.

PRAYER

Father of all children, help me to do Your work to raise my children and all children in Your ways that they will bring Glory to You in this earth and fulfill their destiny. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
