GOD ALMIGHTY, NO OTHER

Deuteronomy 4:34-35,38-39

Has any other god dared to take a nation for himself out of another nation by means of trials, miraculous signs, wonders, war, a strong hand, a powerful arm, and terrifying acts? Yet that is what the Lord your God did for you in Egypt, right before your eyes.

“He showed you these things so you would know that the lord is God and there is no other.

He drove out nations far greater than you, so he could bring you in and give you their land as your special possession, as it is today.

“So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.

What a testimony, Moses reminded the people of God's mighty power and authority. The wonderful things God had done for them that no one could compete with. Taking a people out of captivity with trials and mighty works. Displacing nations bigger than them so that they could inherit the land.

They children of Israel ought to perpetually remain faithful and glorify God to the whole world.

Moses continued:

Deuteronomy 4:40

If you obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well with you and your children. I am giving you these instructions so you will enjoy a long life in the land the lord your God is giving you for all time.”

They had all laid down for them, they were only required to be obedient, faithfulness to God was key for them to enjoy all the good promises.

Did they?

As believers we have received an even greater manifestation of God's power.

John 3:16

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

He gave a sacrifice to set all men free from the bondage of the enemy.

2 Corinthians 5:21

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

He who ought to judge us for our sins now became the sacrifice for our sin!

God made us citizens of heaven by the great sacrifice, displacing the enemies' authority over the life of man.

He not only set us free He lifted us up. We sit in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Glory to God.

Philippians 3:20-21

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.

He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

Ephesians 2:6

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

This great miracle and work is far greater than anything that we can ever desire in our lifetime here on earth.

So what is it you desire now that the Lord cannot do for you when He has already done the ultimate?

Romans 8:32

Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?

So we must trust Him and Him alone for actually there is no other.

No one can do what God has done for us and no one can take His place.

Most times the immediate challenges make us forget the greater things the Lord has done for us. We should not.

That victory you see is just a glimpse of the real victory the Lord gave you in the hidden places.

If only we know what happens behind the scene. The battle God's warriors fight on our behalf, we will keep giving God praise.

Let us be faithful knowing that there is nothing confronting us that the Lord cannot take care of. He has already done the greatest things for us.

No other, but the Lord God Almighty revealed in Christ Jesus.

We win.

PRAYER

You are God alone, the Almighty. Thank You Lord for keeping me in faith. I trust You for all things and I remain faithful. I do not have to worry for Father You are more than able, I am safe in Your hands.  Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.
