USING YOUR GIFTS - BLESSED TO BLESS!

Exodus 35:4-5

Then Moses said to the whole community of Israel, “This is what the Lord has commanded:

Take a sacred offering for the Lord. Let those with generous hearts present the following gifts to the Lord: gold, silver, and bronze;


When the Lord wants to do His work He uses His people. They are the first responders.


Thus the Lord always ensures His own are blessed.


It is not only limited to tangible things like money but also skill and expertise in various trades that come in handy for doing the Lord's work.


Exodus 35:10

“Come, all of you who are gifted craftsmen. Construct everything that the Lord has commanded:


I have always believed that there is no human created without gifts or talents, it just has to be discovered and developed.


We bless and edify each other spiritually by prayers and other spiritual activities we also do so by using our God giving gifts tangible and intangible to do God's work, build the church and one another.


Remember that this involves men and women alike. Both are meant to be industrious;


Exodus 35:22a

Both men and women came, all whose hearts were willing. 


Your talents, gifts and blessings are not just for you and your immediate family it transcends to the church and to all the Lord leads you to.


You are blessed to bless!


You can also be specifically blessed with tangible and/or intangible gifts, skills or talent to carry out God's assignments:


Exodus 35:31-35

The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.

He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze.

He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft.

And the Lord has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.

The Lord has given them special skills as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth, and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers.


Thus we can ask the Lord for wisdom in any area of expertise and truly He can grant it to us.


James 1:5

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.


1 John 5:14-15

And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.

And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.


Yes, we are blessed to bless.


Glory to God.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
