THE REASON FOR THE GIFT

Exodus 31:6

“And I have personally appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be his assistant. Moreover, I have given special skill to all the gifted craftsmen so they can make all the things I have commanded you to make:


God gave instructions to Moses concerning the building of the tabernacle. This included the whole structure, the ark, altar, the clothing for the priests, etc. He did not stop there, He had also prepared those who will do this work.


Exodus 31:2-6

“Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.

He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze.

He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft!

This is why I love Pastor Taiwo Lemoshe's phrase: "the Caller is the Doer".


Listen, the Lord can never lack on what it takes to do His work, if you are in ministry, this is one of the first thing you should understand. He is omnipotent and Elshaddai for a reason, nothing beats the Almighty, He is God! Halleluyah


Jeremiah 32:27

“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?


Until we understand this, we have not started our journey with Him. That is why scripture records that without faith it is impossible for us to please God.


Hebrews 11:6a

And it is impossible to please God without faith. 


Listen child of God, if the Lord sends you, know that He has already prepared whatever it is you need to succeed.


Look at it, even from creation, before Adam came to be God had already prepared all he needed to fulfill his assignment. If only he didn't fall for the lies of the enemy . . .


Now here comes the other part: "no human was created without a gift or talent, it is the types and measures that differ".


Every human is blessed with one gift or the other, you find it and prune it, in developing it you never lose it.


This is why I always say that one of the greatest thing a parent could ever do for their child/children is to help them discover their gift/talent on time. What a blessing it is, that child would do exploits.


So people ask why we have talents used for secular purposes for instance, the gift of music used by many for purposes other than glorifying God?


Well we must understand that although we are all created by God, it is our choice either to worship Him or not. Our being made in His image also empowers us to make our own decision. This can be a blessing or a curse.


Remember: You can make the choice but you have no power over the consequences. Selah


N/B: Our gifts are also meant to bless humanity!


So the question is, have you discovered your talents or gifts? Have you developed it? Are you also using it to fulfill God's purpose?


Remember what Jesus said:


John 15:2b

 and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.


Remember what Christ explained with the parable of the talents!


As we remember the resurrection of Christ let us understand that Christ lived His life here on earth in full service to the Lord and when it was time He gave His life to save all of humanity. That was His purpose of coming and He fulfilled it. Are you fulfilling your own purpose?


I see suppressed or misused gifts/talents resurfacing, I see us receiving revelation from the Lord concerning our gifts, and we glorifying God and blessing humanity with it. 


We will fulfill the purpose of our gifts and being. So help us Good Lord.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
