Romans 12:17-18,21

Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.

Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.


Before we move into the book of Leviticus, let us remind ourselves of who we are and the lifestyle the Heavenly Father expects from us.


We understand that we cannot control what other people do, however we can control our reactions to their actions, so we read:


Romans 12:18

Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.


If they bring evil reply with good:


Romans 12:17

Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.


Evil should never conquer us, No, we conquer evil with good.


Romans 12:21

Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.


You have your nature as a believer, that nature is what you have become when Christ filled you with God's Holy Spirit. It makes you carry the character of God which is love. Love makes you do good and not evil.


Galatians 5:22-23

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!


1 John 4:7,13

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.

And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.


Why should we allow anyone take away our joy in God's Holy Spirit? Why would we allow someone else's behaviour determine our character or change our God given nature?


You are good👍 and no plot of the evil one will change that good nature of yours.


Why should I bother myself seeking revenge because of the evil someone may have done to me? The Lord said He will take care of that:


Romans 12:19

Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, 

“I will take revenge; 

    I will pay them back,” 

    says the Lord.


The moment you begin to seek vengeance, you are asking the Lord to take His hands off your "matter", that is not wisdom!


Listen,

All these interferences are from the enemy and the foolishness of humans. We must not fall for them, for they are "Distractions".


Truly they are time wasters making you lose valuable time seeking vain pride and relevance while leaving your purpose and assignment unattended to. Don't fall for it!


Let them think you are the fool, but you are not, you are actually the wise man. It is the fools that make themselves tools in the hand of the enemy. It always results in disasters for them.


Hear this, don't make friends because you thing you both have a common enemy!


Don't join the multitude to do evil!


Keep being that good person you are.


If there is something not yet perfected in your life and character, bring it to God in prayer and work with His instructions to destroy that bad character.


Live the true christian (Christ like) life.


So help us Good Lord.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
