LEAVE IT TO THE LORD (a reminder)

Psalm 129:2

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

The wise one leaves the troubles to the Lord, for who is in the best position to fight our battles, but Him who is in charge of all things.

Psalm 24:8

Who [is] this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

When you put your trust in the Lord, He takes care of your oppositions, He deals with those who come against you for no just cause.

Examples of His fight for His children abound in scriptures:

2Chronicles 20:15

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle [is] not yours, but God's.

Many a times you just have to do nothing, but stand still and know that He is God.

2Chronicles 20:17

Ye shall not [need] to fight in this [battle]: set yourselves, stand ye [still], and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD [will be] with you.

Wisdom tells us that no matter what force we go with, what defence we prepare or what preventions we put in place. Victory is of the Lord:

Proverbs 21:31

The horse [is] prepared against the day of battle: but safety [is] of the LORD.

For we who have believed and have been saved, we understand that the greatest battle against us has been won and that is "the battle for our soul".

Mark 8:37

Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

This is greatest battle of all.

Glory to God we have the victory already. He who gave us this victory will also give us victory in all things. Glory to His Holy name.

Thus let us leave it all to Him, He will take care of it. Our duty is to listen to His instructions, then take action.

So,

Instead of worrying, I will worship the Heavenly Father.

Instead of complaining I will confess His promises.

Instead of revenge I will release myself to the Lord's peace.

I will stay in prayer and meditation of His Word.

Cause I know who got me. The Almighty God.

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.
