HIS PROMISE TO BE WITH US

Exodus 23:22-23,32

But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you.

For my angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, so you may live there. And I will destroy them completely.

“Make no treaties with them or their gods.

The Lord keeps His own, fights for them and is always with them. However sin/disobedience separates people from the Lord.

The prophet stated in the book of Isaiah:

Isaiah 59:1-2

Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call.

It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. 

Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.

God sent His angel to guide and lead the children of Israel and to give them His instructions, all they had to do was walk in obedience and then the full victory and prosperity was theirs.

The same way the Lord is with all believers, for Christ said when He was physically leaving the earth:

John 14:15-18

“If you love me, obey my commandments.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.

He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.

So Christ lives in all believers by the Holy Spirit we must obey Him and allow Him lead us if we want to enjoy the full package Christ won for us.

His angels are on assignment for us and we are to empower their territory and walk with them to ensure God's glory is revealed in our lives.

Most times people create the wrong atmosphere or aura where it is difficult for God's messenger to work for us

We fight our own battles, we hate, envy, lust and practice tribalism, racism and all forms of malice and then wonder why God's power is not manifest in our lives.

All those hyped acclaimed men/women of God, who promise and speak into the lives of people who have no personal relationship with the Lord are not helping them, for what the Lord needs from us, is our heart, not just for us to come collect from Him and return to the ways of the world. Selah

We must learn from the Israelites, not making their mistakes but walking in the Spirit that we do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Remember:

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

By His grace we will Not fail, fall or falter.

We will be found worthy and remain faithful.

We prosper and do exploits as the Lord's angels fight our battles and His Spirit guide us day after day.
