THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION

Exodus 3:8,22

So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey—the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.

Every Israelite woman will ask for articles of silver and gold and fine clothing from her Egyptian neighbors and from the foreign women in their houses. You will dress your sons and daughters with these, stripping the Egyptians of their wealth.”


One thing I have learnt about the Lord's intervention is that it comes with a full package. It is not just taking out of bondage but equipping you with what you need to prosper.


God shows up, and makes the oppressor a victim.


In our study today we see that God's plan for saving Israel also included them leaving with their wealth.


Exodus 3:22b

You will dress your sons and daughters with these, stripping the Egyptians of their wealth.”


Remember when Laban oppressed Jacob after he had worked so hard for him:


Genesis 31:6-7,9

You know how hard I have worked for your father,

but he has cheated me, changing my wages ten times. But God has not allowed him to do me any harm.

In this way, God has taken your father’s animals and given them to me.


We also see how Joseph who was wrongly accused and thrown into prison rose from being a slave to ruling over the entire nation.


Psalms 30:5b

Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.


No matter how powerful the oppressor is, our God is more superior and that oppressor must submit to His power, just as Pharaoh would find. All other powerful kings who boasted through scriptures learnt the hard way


So it is wisdom to put your trust in the Lord.

Exodus 3:14-15

God replied to Moses, “I am who I am. Say this to the people of Israel: I am has sent me to you.”

God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you. 

This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.


If you do, He will come through for you.


It is our time for deliverance and it will be a total package.


May God's hand of favour come upon us afresh.


May God's deliverance come upon our land.


Glory to Yahweh.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out. Please don't give up, God is still in control Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
