THE MERCIFUL GOD

Psalm 136:26

O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

The children of Israel received God's mercy, as He delivers them from the hand of their oppressors.

The greatest mercy is the one we received when Christ came to die for all humans.

When we know the extent of our fall, the consequence of our being born in sin. We surely will begin to understand God's mercy.

That which made Christ to be dragged on the ground, beaten with spiked whips, scourged with crown of thorns, then nailed on the parts that could produce the most excruciating pain, the centers of the hands and feet, dangling from a tree, naked, left in hunger, thirst and bitterness. God's mercy displayed to man.

David experienced a bit of God's mercy running here and there for his life, even in victory as king when he sinned, he asked and received mercy. Thus he sang this song through:

Psalm 136:1 - 26

"... for His mercy endureth forever"

God is merciful all who trust Him will continue to enjoy His grace and mercy.

Mary sang:

Luke 1:50

And his mercy [is] on them that fear him from generation to generation.

Paul confirmed:

Ephesians 2:4

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Peter declared:

1Peter 1:3

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

John said:

2John 1:3

Grace be with you, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Jude also prophesied:

Jude 1:2

Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

May we experience God's grace and Mercy afresh as we go on this year.

May our nation experience God's mercy, as He makes the good take over seat of power and ensure that they fix our nation.

May God's mercy come upon our homes, may those who seek to marry well, have good children, have good resources and settle well receive good answers to their prayers.

May our call and ministries be fruitful and a success and we continue to shine for Christ.

May love grow in our heart and make us qualified candidates for mercy.

Help us Good Lord.

Psalm 136:26

O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

Glory to God!

He calls us blessed.

Love
