JUDGMENT BEGINS

Exodus 7:5,13

When I raise my powerful hand and bring out the Israelites, the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.”

Pharaoh’s heart, however, remained hard. He still refused to listen, just as the Lord had predicted.

The worst thing that can happen to any man, nation or people is to find themselves on the wrong side of the Lord's battle.

To provoke the Lord to act, should be for a good thing, and not for vengeance.

Hebrews 10:31

It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Some people are comfortable as oppressors, backbiters, evil doers in all forms, yet they cannot take this evil themselves.

Isaiah 33:1

What sorrow awaits you Assyrians, who have destroyed others but have never been destroyed yourselves. 

You betray others, but you have never been betrayed. 

When you are done destroying, you will be destroyed. 

When you are done betraying, you will be betrayed.

That you have people under your care does not mean that you should oppress, maltreat or cheat them. Be they your children, wards, employees/servants, or even those you lead.

Do to them as you will want to be treated, if you are in their position.

The universal law has always been love, and when Christ came, He preached love, which the Heavenly Father demands from all.

Mark 12:30-31

And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’

The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”

Don't be that one that always want to take advantage of others even those that area better than or are above you. Why do we choose evil rather tans good, love rather than hate, lies rather than truth. What is our problem as humans?

Worst still when you call yourself a Christian, saved by Christ, you don't have business with evil anymore, you carry God's Spirit, it is an insult to walk in evil!

Colossians 3:5-10

So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming.

You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world.

But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language.

Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds.

Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

Judgment will come no matter the delay, and those who oppress others will receive judgment. Those who force the hand of the Lord by doing evil, will receive His judgment and they will weep with no remedy.

Remember that judgment starts from the house of the Lord. Those who call on the name of the Lord and refuse to depart from evil will have it hard on them. It will be terrible!

1 Peter 4:17

For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News?

2 Timothy 2:19

But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and “All who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil.”

Child of God, clear out all evil thoughts from your heart and subconsciousness, settle with all, especially those you have offended. Let your file be clean, filled only with good report. Don't play smart(it is actually foolishness) don't play God or play with God. Be wise, keep your hands clean.

Proverbs 9:10

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. 

Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.

May we always be on the right side of God.
