BUSINESS CONQUEST

Genesis 47:19,25-26

Why should we die before your very eyes? Buy us and our land in exchange for food; we offer our land and ourselves as slaves for Pharaoh. Just give us grain so we may live and not die, and so the land does not become empty and desolate.”

“You have saved our lives!” they exclaimed. “May it please you, my lord, to let us be Pharaoh’s servants.”

Joseph then issued a decree still in effect in the land of Egypt, that Pharaoh should receive one-fifth of all the crops grown on his land. Only the land belonging to the priests was not given to Pharaoh.

When you have what people need, you dictate the price they pay for it!

You cannot have wealth until you have solutions to peoples' problems. People will pay for your product or service. No matter what it costs, the need(s) have to be met.

This is why we need to pray aright, what the Lord will give you or do I say, what the Lord has already given you is enough to make you "your" wealth. 

The starting point is discovering it!

Joseph understood that everything has it's price. There is actually no sentiment in business.

Ofcourse there were people who were under Pharaoh's care and also people who were under his own care(Goshen), they didn't have to pay for their supply. However at the long run all the people, their properties, their lands and themselves became Pharaoh's property.

To prosper you must understand what you have and how to use it.

You must also understand:

1. The sowing/planting stage

2. The pruning or maintaining stage

3. How to cater for risks, setbacks and unplanned expenditures

4. When and how to harvest

5. How do you store and re-invest

The same applies for our kingdom journey here on earth. The parable of the talents gives us an insight into this.

You must bear fruit as a believer, lukewarmness and non-fruitfulness is not allowed!

Do you know that as an employee, you could yet prosper using the above principles - Jacob did with Laban!

The winner in the story of Joseph was Pharaoh, why?

He allowed the qualified, anointed and wise one to sit in the seat of power!

It is not about being the leader, place the right person/person's in the place of authority and see your nation/company/business/community flourish.

Do not lose that one that has the grace because of evil(lying report) from others. Portiphar lost the one that brought him blessings when he threw Joseph into prison.

We need to wake up as individuals, churches, community, business owners, CEOs and even as a nation.

May the Lord grant us good business conquest as we make the right decisions.
